Roberto Yturralde is Guayaquil, an architect by vocation and profession, director of major projects (Bank of America, German School, Faculty of Architecture, Civic Center, etc.). As award-winning architect "Encouraging Urban Progress" delivered by the MIMunicipaldad of Guayaquil, and has won some of Architectural Competitions, until 2006 was Adviser to the Development Plan of La Libertad and continues as Business Consultant Architecture and Urbanism. As a writer has collaborated with many urban opinion pieces in The Universe and The Daily Telegraph and several magazines. As a painter has participated in several of the most important rooms of the Town and Country. As a university professor has been Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Catholic University and currently teaches design Chair architecture at the University of Espiritu Santo. For his profession he is expected to work hard, but surprised by the joy and humor of his work. Yturralde is exhibiting his work since 1964 when it opened in October Salon. That same year she won third prize in the First Exhibition of Painting of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Guayaquil, where he was studying professionals. His work also included the Biennial of Drawing 87, 89 and 91. In parallel sets for various occasions in the traditional display of Las Peñas, where he has been much in the years 74, 76, 82, 84 and 86. In 1984, together with the brothers Luis and Hugo Lara painters, exposed in the Guayaquil Tennis Club and the following year in the College of Architects of Guayas. Many of his paintings have stood the country up to private collections in Switzerland, the United States, Germany, Colombia, France, Chile, Italy, Argentina. Several of his works are the heritage of institutions such as ArtElite, Guayaquil Tennis Club, American Ecuadorian Centre, Alliance Francaise, National Finance Corporation and the Municipal Museum, among others. The use of color with a Caribbean holiday, the texture produced by the knife and dry brush-worked spontaneous quality of his handwriting and aggressiveness of its composition, are the tools available to Roberto Yturralde to access the expression of their feelings and emotions. In the past month of June "joy and tenderness" was his exhibition on display at the Art Center Women's Cultural Society. The next September will be an exhibition in Austria. August/2006 In 2007, Yturralde has been painting and selling a lot. His works continue to be exposed in Europe. Is preparing an exhibition of abstract landscapes for November 2008.
